1: What i have learned about the Middle East: I don't know a whole lot about the Middle East. But i do know that it is a poor country, and that the Government got too much power. They tell the people how to dress, how to live, what to worship what to believe in.
I didn't really think much about it till 9/11 happened even though i was little it still upset me. Someone i knew died when the Twin Towers were bombed.
2: What I've heard about the Middle East: About of people i talked to about the Middle East said that 9/11 wouldn't have happened i it weren't for Bush. Other people said it was Clinton.
the middle east is a 3 world country with women that cant show their face and the children are suicide bombers.
3: What are Terrorists: Terrorists are people that like to Bomb and kill Americans and other people they hate. What they do is they they attack us and bomb Houses or City's or Towers or what ever. Just to make their Point that their better then us.
4:What do Middle East and Terrorism have to do with one another: Most Terrorists Live in the Middle East and we went to war with them so we worried mostly about the Middle East. And in poor country's with a Government with a lot of power they like to be in power and want to attack other country's so they can be top dog.
Well Lisa, I think you should know this there is more then one country in the Middle East it's multipul countries. The Middle east is just one area thats broken down into severel different countries. Well in my opinion I don't think they make people dress up the people there dress up according to their religious beliefes. I think it's cute how you said that it upset even though you were little when 9/11 happened. Terorrist always have a set time and place I agree with your beleifs about terroist for the most part. Well there is also many other reasons why Middle east and terrorism collide like they do. I liked how you said your opinion and stuck to the point of what you believed. :)
ReplyDeletePS: Next time use spell check <3
I agree that the goverment does tell them what to do and what to wear and all that other stuff, but I also think it's part of their religion that tells them, cuz you see people in the middle east are really religious, and I guess if the goverment is religious as well, they'll do just about anything they say.

ReplyDeleteYeah i know Nick XD i really don't know a lot about the Middle East, but i heard that they made them dress like that. So yeah
ReplyDeleteI agree with how you say people say Bush was in on 9/11. Ive never heard of Clinton being involved but there have been tons of stories and theories about Bush being involved. The thing is, Bush was having lunch with Anwar Al-Awlaki, who is one of the CIA's most wanted man, a leader of Al-Qaeda. There's a lot of theories for this but none have been proven true.
ReplyDeleteThe Middle East is not just one country but the whole area with many countries in it. Not all of the countries there are poor, but there is a vast division between poor and rich people. The government does not have that much power in the Middle East countries as the islamic religion does and the religion is also responsible for the fact that women cover their faces in that area.
ReplyDeleteI think that 9/11 wasn't only Bushes fault, but probably more an objective of more powerful men standing behind him, whose faces we never see.
I love like you said "Terrorists are people that like to Bomb and kill Americans ...". Terrorists doesn't only bomb and kill and they don't attack mainly americans. Terrorism has nothing to do with "making their Point that their better then us". It is usually only a tool used for the sake of revenge, getting something they want or threatening people or government.
I totally disagree with the fourth point. It is not true that the most of the terrorists are from the Middle East, and as I mentioned before, the Middle East is not just one country so you shouldn't generalize it like that.
Lisa, Great post! Watch out for spelling and grammar errors, capitalize "I" and the "Middle East" and the beginning of sentences.
ReplyDeleteLisa, also be careful when using generalizations about the Middle East. That area has a variety of cultures with different religions, languages, dress, and other cultural practices.
